Community service is a valuable experience for any child. When the youth of a church congregation helps those in need – whether it is organizing a food drive, volunteering at a homeless shelter or going on a mission trip, it teaches our children how to apply themselves to the greater good and that they are a part of a larger community. It fosters personal growth, compassion, and an expanded faith by assisting those less fortunate around them.
And as vital as these experiences are, it is also crucial to keep the safety of our youth and the safety of the Church in mind whenever there is an outing.
When organizing a church youth group outing, communication between parents and church staff is key. To help deliver these messages in the fastest and most responsible way, we developed Mobile Permissions – a free electronic signature app already used by a large number of churches and youth groups. Our service provides an easy way to quickly deliver permission slips (including a payment portal) to a parent / guardian’s cell phone for any church youth group outings.
Parent’s love the convenience. Churches love how easy it is.
Getting a permission slip for any youth ministry community service or church-sponsored mission trip is all about ensuring a student’s safety. Many times, without express medical consent, doctors will not treat a student unless the injury is life-threatening. Moreover, a good permission slip will also release the Church (its staff and volunteers) from legal liabilities related to a health or safety issue. It furthermore provides the organizers with the latest health information and contact information for any student in the youth group.
With our digital permission slips, you can easily take any paper permission slips you may have used in the past with your youth group and easily reuse it digitally with our service. It incredibly simple and quick.

The Value of Fun Field Trips Near Me
Now that I’m an educator in charge of these trips, I understand a bit of why these fun trips can be just as important as strictly educational ones. They teach social lessons on interaction with one another in a new setting. They allow for exercise and, as a bonus, the students love it.
